Fiddler on Ice :: A Guest in Reykjavik

A short film following Mary Hickson and musicians Caoimhin O’Raghallaigh and Kate Ellis to Iceland to meet with Icelandic band Amiina and visit music producers and recording studios in the capitol of Reykjavik. The first chapter in a project to develop closer relations between artists living in Ireland and Iceland through the Monks of Skellig Micheal, the first people from Europe thought to have settled in Iceland over a thousand years ago.
