Lisa Hannigan :: Passenger Recording Diaries :: Pre-Production

In August 2010 (just after purchasing for the first time a Canon 7D camera with the retro 50mm Nikon lens that I use to shoot everything to this day) Lisa Hannigan asked me to begin to document the very early stages of writing and demoing her album Passenger. It was the beginning of a long and fruitful courtship from behind the lens. Through filming Lisa I began to notice I was beginning to acquire my own shooting style and craft in editing.   These two videos are of pre-production recording sessions with her band in the coastal town of Baltimore in West Cork, Ireland.
